M-PG Connect was a project planning team comprised of Plenary Group USA, Ltd. and Bechtel Develoment Company, Inc. The project scope was to propose a new light rail transit line to the existing Maryland light rail network. Dubbed the "Purple Rail", the new line will run from Bethesda to New Carollton in Montgomery and Prince George's counties.
